What's on my desk this week?

This is how my desk looks at the moment


In the centre at the back is my new ceramic coffee mug ........with lid !!!! I don't allow ordinary mugs in here anymore! Towards the right is a new tin of Prisma pencils, I used them this week and like how they colour.There is a stamp on my cutter, some blending solution and blending stubs, a few punches and a layout I have just finished along with a few other bits and bobs.


This is the layout....... It's my great Grandfather Basil Edwards he was a fisherman on trawlers out in the North Sea, as was his father.It shows photo's of life at sea, hauling in the fishing nets and sometimes the nets would pick up bombs, sadly this is how he died as you can see on the certificate on the layout an enemy bomb blew up the ship ( Calton) he was working on at the time and he was lost at sea.


He was only 58 when this happened, my family does not seem to live long on this side, as his son my Grandad died at 52, when my mum was still in her teens.

Finally......... For those who told me to tidy up my messy space last week ........... Job done !

What's on my desk this week?

Well ...first I must say sorry for being AWOL last week , but we went on holiday, just hubby and I for our wedding anniversary.
This is how my desks looks today
It's all tidy!!!!!.... I cleared it up before I went away, the layout on the easel I 'found' under my pile of paper while clearing it up!!! I had wondered where it had gone!



Since my desk is boring....... And I have not crafted for two weeks due to being on holiday I thought I would show you the other side of the room

Bit of sorting out and tidying up to do!
More fun would be to show you some stamps I bought while on holiday, here they are......


And I also bought one of these, so lots of fun ahead I think

This is how my desk looks at the moment

I do not have as much as usual to show as I have been working on a lot of things that are for publication, so I'm not allowed to show you yet, I will as soon as I can!
A couple of scrapbook layouts on the easel the one on the left using Lavina Stamps and the one on the right using Heartfelt Creations Stamps
Two sets of rubber alphabet stamps at the front of my desk
Tin of buttons, paper cutter , more stamps at the back!!!!
