Stampotique Designers Challenge 215: Card for a Child

This week our hostess is Janet, her challenge is to make a card for a child.
Janet says we often make cards for ourselves and other adults. Children love stamping and enjoy seeing what is created for them... So let's make a card that will appeal to a child.
So with this in mind I made this card...using 3 Stampotique rubber stamps.
I only used one colour but watered it down to give it different strength of colour... I also used a bit of glitter on the cake, all children love a bit of sparkle!
Now it's your turn to join in the fun at the SDC blog, link is on the right hand side of this post.

Stampotique Designers Challenge 214: Early Halloween

Carol is our hostess this week at the SDC blog and she set us the fun challenge of Early Halloween!

Carol says she loves Halloween, so any excuse to sneak it in a month early is fine with her!

Well I normally make my PL cards to match photos I have taken, however the day before making my cards I purchased a witches outfit for Lara for Halloween, as for the first time I found one small enough to fit her, its age 2, so might be a little big, but smaller than all the others I've found!
This is the fabric of the outfit
So I used paints to match
And found some black PL cards...
Used France's little stars from her cube
Then stamped and coloured Magda's Agatha witch
And here we have it .......... My creation for this weeks challenge
I must add the big challenge now is to get Lara into the outfit and take some photos!
Here is another set I made a couple of weeks ago for Craft Stamper magazine
And here they are going into the PL wallet with photos almost finnished!

Craft Stamper Magazines : Take It Make It blog Challenge ......... Take a stamp

There is a new challenge over at the Craft Stamper Magazine this week...... The challenge is Take a stamp! That means you can do anything as long as you use a real stamp on your project!
More info can be found at the Craft Stamper Magazine blog ....... Here
There is a fab prize to win this month from STAMPlorations  a set of stamps and two stencils.
If you enter the challenge... There is a code to get free shipping from the company as well.
Here is my project this month a set of PL cards, thinking Haloween is just round the corner.....
I wanted to use these cards with some photos I had, so I coloured the card stock first to get the right colour to match my photos. I used 4 IndigoBlu acrylic paints and added water and sprayed the card stock till I got the right colour, then scratched the paper to make lines and let a little more ink flow in.
I then cut out my PL cards
I stamped this one with a Stampotique rubber stamp by Magda
I also stamped it onto white cards stock and coloured it then cut it out and glued it on top.
Then did fox stitching round the outside and stamped a quote from Tim Holtz.
Then on the smaller cards stamped the witch and spider both from Stampotique .
Now it's over to you to join in the fun..........
