What's on my desk this New Years Day

Here is my desk...

I have not really sorted my desk out for months! Think desk tidying up really must be on my New Years 'to do' list!
In the centre you can see the card I have made for the Stampotique challenge SDC129.... Here it is close up

The challenge is hosted by Kim and it's an anything goes, there is a link to the challenge on the right hand side of my blog, just touch it and you will magically be transported to the challenge site......... Why not join in and try and win yourself a prize, we can never have enough crafty stuff can we???????
Here is a couple of step by step photos of how I made it...all the stamps used are from Stampotique.
First I stamped the image called Snunmasha #6120 with archival in, then coloured it with Prisma pencils and then blended it all with blending solution and a paper stub.

Then cut it out the image. Next stamped Happy, with the alphabet upper set #7176, on some left over card stock and cut it out.

I used some sparkle medium on card stock putting it on through a stencil and left it to dry.

After the sparkle medium was dry, I Matt and layered it.

Then stamped this cute little fella, called Whisker monster with sign #4005,cut round the sign and wrote New Year in it.

added all the elements, gluing them down to produce my Happy New Year card!

May I take a moment to thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment and wish you a Happy New Year.
I will try and return all visits.

What's on my work desk Wednesday

Here is my desk! Still not put anything away just got more out!

It is starting to pile up somewhat!
Think I might have to try and tidy it up over Christmas time!
However I have been making things ..... I made these Christmas tree decorations

Here are a few step by step photos to give you an idea of how simple they were to make.... Mdf shapes painted in blackboard paint ...

Ensure front, back and sides are all covered ...

Then I stamped the word Precious onto the bauble with white stays on.

Then I stamped using Stampotique stamps these two images and coloured them with Prisma pencils and blended with blending solution.

Then cut the images out and glued onto the bauble, added some ribbon a little bow and a couple of festive bells

Then it was all finished and I did the same procedure with the pink one!

If you would like to have a look round other festive desks please click on the link on the right marked stamping ground and the lovely Julia will explain all.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog I will try and return all visits.

What's on my work desk Wednesday

The light has almost gone, I have taken this picture of my desk, sorry it's a little on the dark side!

I have been busy crafting away and not tidying up in between!!!!
Thus there is a lot of crafting 'stuff' on my table this week!
You can see I'm colouring in an image I stamped with a Stampotique Stamp, and to the right is my ink pad, brayers, stamps paintbrushes, Gelatos to name but a few bits.
I have been having a play with my Gelatos...( thought you might like a little look)

Had a bit of a scribble on some watercolour paper then added lots of water and moved the colour about with a brush.

Then I put it to one side to dry and this is how it comes out a couple of hours later!

I then use it as background paper to stamp on and then other products such as Gesso or Sparkle medium.

It looks much better after it's dried using this method I thought!
I then stamped on it with this amazing stamp from Stampotique, Oh Tree #6152 i used white staz on with Splatter stamp #8832 and painted snow on the tree wwith staz on in white
