Some lovely Dylusions spray ink on my journal page

Then some Gesso through a few stencils

Stamp and cut out some images ( all mine are Stampotique images) and coloured them in with my Prisma pencils and blending fluid.

I punched out my squares using a one and half inch punch and started sticking my images onto the journal

Inked up my squares and randomly stamped on them.

Then added numbers and glued all the elements down!

And here it is, my calendar journal page ready for me to write on. There are various stencils, cutters, stamps, and other crafty bits and bobs on the right

What's on my work desk Wednesday

Well when I took this late this afternoon the sun was still peeping out around the garden!

The largest part of my desk is covered by my Project Life folder and some of the pages I have been working on.
I decided to try and make some of my own journalling cards, for my Project Life.i have never tried this before, so was a bit unsure of how it would go........Here is a close up of the set I made....

Here are a few simple step by step pictures to show how I made them... First I stamped the Stampotique image onto a lined Project Life journalling card

Then using a Tim Holtz ruler, pierced holes all the way round the journaling card.

Next I stamped the same image on patterned paper and plain paper and cut out the dress. The plain I coloured with my Prisma pencils and blended with blending solution, then layered them on top of the image on the journalling card

I then used a pink pencil and joined the dots so it looked like stitching around the card.

Then I stamped a few stars and I then added a little sparkle!

Stamped a couple more stampotique images and coloured and cut them out and added them to the cards!

So here is my set of Stampotique Project Life cards!

I now feel that my set of cards are now appropriate for the photos I have in my album. This may work out a cheaper way of doing my album, although I realise using there cards would be a much faster way to complete the album. I did buy a set of baby girl cards to go with my album, but just didn't feel they were right for the pregnancy stage, my daughters at!

That's my desk..... If you would like to go and visit lots of other crafty desks please click on the link marked Stamping Ground on the right hand side of my blog a little further down and you will be transported to the lovely Julia who will explain all.

Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment, as always I will try and visit everyone who leaves a comment.
On the right hand side there is a link to the Stampotique site where you can find all the stamps I have used in my project, there is also links to the Stampotique challenge site where you can win a prize...... Head on over and take a look.

What's On Your Work desk Wednesday

This is how my desk looks........ A hive of activity !!!!!
Once I start on a project, I just keep going till it's done, no tidying up as I go along!!!!
I have been using my Gelli plate again to make backgrounds ( once my favourite thing was patterned paper, now I tend to make my own, strange how our taste changes)
Here is one I made, love the browns, black and golds, on this.

I cut it down to fit into my little journal book and used it for a background .
I stamped some images all from stampotique ( there is a button to the right of this post, click on it and you can go to there web site and see 1,0000's of the stamps they make) and coloured them in.

Stamped this little verse and used a bit of washi tape ( half price bargain from M&S)

And made this journal page

My little journal book is getting a few layouts in it now!

Think it's time to move onto my large journal book and do some bigger stuff, I have been wanting to join Kate Cranes journal calendar group, ( one of my New Years resolutions) So watch this space next week and see how it goes !!!!!
Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment I try and return all visits.

What's on my work desk Wednesday

Here is my desk this week. I did tidy it all up ( here is the proof)as it had been two months since it had been cleaned up!

You can see I have been busy again, as it's got messy again as I have been crafting away, my craft bag is on the right my pan pastels on the left,my journal in the middle... Here is a close up of what I was working on...

It's a page in my little 8x5 journal ..... I have used The alphabet set #7177 and #7176 From Stampotique and the Hazelheart # 12010 also from Stampotique
Here are a few step by step photos to show I I made this, I used a present I got for Christmas, this splatter brush, for the first time!

Then I put Fresco paint on it

And then splattered it onto card stock

Cut the card to size and Matt and layered it.

Stamped Hazelheart from Stampotique onto multi media paper and coloured her using Prisma pencils and blending fluid

Then on another sheet of paper I used a stencil by Wendy Vecki and my pan pastels and produced this.....

I then cut it all out

And stuck it together, stamped out my letters, raised a couple up on foam pads, and inked round them

To make my clean and simple journal page

Thank you for stopping by I will try and return all visits.
